So here I am in Frankfurt, lounging away in the Lufthansa Senator lounge… I have just over 4 hours left before my next flight starts boarding.
Well that flight from Brussels to Frankfurt was over in no time! It only took like 40 minutes to get here… This was actually my first time flying with Lufthansa (LH) and although it was “only” in economy class I have to say that it’s a huge difference compared to other airlines. Crew was super friendly and even on this short hop to FRA they came by with a service cart, which unfortunately she ran into my toes, my bad as I had put my leg into the aisle to get some more space. A million excuses and no harm done.
The plane stopped at Gate A17 and the entrance to the lounge is just a couple minutes walk away. As soon as I got off the plane I checked the LoungeBuddy app to see which lounges I would have access to with my Copa Airlines Star Gold status and to my surprise it showed me that I would be able to get into the Lufthansa Senator First Class lounge.
I set off on my stroll and quickly found the lounge where a friendly LH employee scanned my next boarding pass and a green check mark showed on the screen, woohoo I’m in! At first the lounge was very croweded and I managed to find a seat at a table in the middle of the lounge, close to where the bar and buffet was. But I didn’t like the seating and in the corner of my eye I saw that a more comfy lounge seat was available so I moved.
As I was all settled in it was time for a drink! Just too bad I keep missing Jack Daniels at all these venues so far… I had to settle for Tullamore Dew, not bad but I’ve had better whiskies that’s for sure. Oh well there are worst things in life, these are mere #firstworldproblems haha.
Time to get a bite to eat and probably have a couple more drinks before I head to the gate and fly to my next destination… See you later!
